Exodus chapter 3.

Moses went from being a leader in Egypt getting what he wanted to all of a sudden becoming a Shepherd, a job despised by Egyptians. But God Was preparing Moses for a job. So God had him tending sheep so he could learn leadership skills and build Godly qualities and character. We never know when or where God will speak to us. And we never know for sure what he will ask of us. When God calls us into a new direction or new position or new job or new ministry, it can catch us off-guard and we could initially start to make excuses as to why we can't do it. For example, I'm not good enough. I'm not qualified. I have a physical or mental or social problems or other shortcomings. I'm afraid because I fear I won't be able to handle the challenges that come before me. For me at Edinboro Camp, I have felt probably all the above excuses and emotions. A friend of mine said to me, God doesn't call the qualified, he qualifies the called. If God calls us in a given area, then he will equip us and teach us to be able to carry out what he has called us too. And he promises he will never leave us but will be with us.
