Good morning! Leviticus chapter 5.

If we do something wrong, even unintentionally and it's brought to our attention, so that we know it was wrong, we have to take responsibility. And in taking responsibility, with that comes taking the consequences of the sin. The hope that we have, regardless of the sin and consequences, is there is always forgiveness available through Christ. I John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, God is faithful and just and will forgive us of our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”   Yes, we are forgiven, but often comes consequences which could mean humiliation. Sometimes it's just a matter of confessing it to God or a friend. Sometimes sin is exposed to the public and people get hurt by your sin. It may mean paying a fine or spending time in jail. Those are difficult consequences to handle. The good news is there's always forgiveness available through Christ. There's always a means for restoration and healing. God can change our circumstances. God can take bad and turn it into good. The thing I need to hear is there's always hope. I'm Not always proud of the things that I say, think or do. I feel like I take the same sins before the Lord. I'm not giving up. I will continue to claim victory in Christ which means continual confession and trusting for victory in overcoming the sin.
