Daily Bible Challenge: Day 547 Psalms Chapter 69

Psalms Chapter 69. Broken and Restored.

Another chapter where:

1. One is in turmoil and the enemies attack.

2. One seeks the Lord for deliverance.

3. Praise is given to God.

Some of the words used to depict one's anguish and frustration in this chapter are:

I'm worn out. My family is against me. People make fun of me. My heart is broken.

What's going on in our lives today? What consumes our thoughts? What are our worries? What is bothering us? What weighs us down? Take it to the Lord daily. Surrender it to the Lord daily.

The psalmist reminds us that:

1. God is a God of great love and great Mercy.

2. The Lord hears us. He will intervene.

3. God is worthy of our praises.

Keep sharing your heart to the Lord. In due time, he will respond. Trust him. Praise Him.

Verse 32 stood out to me today.
When the humble see it they will be glad; you who seek God, let your hearts revive.

Isaiah 57:15 also mentions reviving of the heart.

For thus says the One who is high and lifted up, who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: “I dwell in the high and holy place, and also with him who is of a contrite and lowly spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly, and to revive the heart of the contrite.”
