Psalms Chapter 62. The Battle belongs to the Lord!
I hope you all are having a great week.
In this world we face good and evil. We face blessings and curses. We face joy and hardships. We have our ups and downs.
ENEMIES: The psalmist speaks of his enemies and uses the words:
Assault. Thrown down. Topple. Lie. Curse.
GOD: The psalmist also speaks about God and what comes from him or describes him.
Rest. Salvation. Rock. Fortress. Hope. Refuge. Honor. Power. Unfailing love. Reward.
Ephesians 6:12 reminds us that:
“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”
The psalmist tells us that yes we have enemies but the good news is we have God. Nothing is above him and nothing is his equal. All things submit to the Lord!  So as the psalmist says:
Trust God and pour your heart out to him. Give God the freedom and the control to work in and through all your circumstances, whether they be good or evil. God will intervene. He'll give you strength when needed. The ability to persevere. Wisdom when needed. Deliverance when needed. And growth.
Trust God and pour your heart out to him.
