This chapter is all about what God does for King David. And it is all about God being praised for all he does.

Verse 7 is the key verse for me which says,

“The king trust in the Lord. Through the unfailing love of the most high he will not be shaken.””

The king is being attacked by his enemies but King David trust in the Lord for deliverance. The motivation behind what God is doing is his love for His people. May we be encouraged by this. God loves us and wants to intervene in his timing and it's through the waiting that God is accomplishing his purpose.

1. He may be disciplining us so we look more like Him.

2. He may be teaching us new things and helping us to become stronger as a follower of Christ.

Regardless of the reason it's always for our benefit which ultimately is for God's benefit and his glory.

So may we hang in there and be patient and trust God to get us through our situation knowing it's out of his love we will benefit so ultimately he will benefit and be glorified.
