Job Chapter 38. Who am I to question God?
Now the Lord speaks to Job. God basically asks Job who are you to question my plans without knowledge?
I feel that to question God is to lack wisdom, knowledge and understanding because if we had God's knowledge we would have no need to question. We would know that God knows what he's doing. We could accept it. But we don't have his knowledge so we are in a position to have to accept his words or actions by faith. Sadly, I question God too often. I want to be better at acting in faith versus worry, frustration, anger or hate.
Hebrews chapter 11:1-6 says what faith is. FAITH is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.
Then this passage talks about all the people before us who operated in faith and reaped great rewards from God.
Verse six is the challenging verse for me, which says: “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.”
So to please God we must operate in faith or with faith. I wonder how many times a day I displease God because I do not operate out of faith but instead out of worry, frustration, anger or hate?
God, help me to walk in faith and not question you when I lack knowledge. Amen!

I was reminded once again of one of my favorite Bible passages which is Proverbs 3:5-6.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths.
