Ezra Chapter 1. Give God the Glory and Thanksgiving
Cyrus, King of Persia, gives God all the glory for all his victories over his enemies.
What are we overlooking in our lives and taking for granted when we should be giving glory to God and Thanksgiving to God?
I'd like to mention a few:
1. I'm thankful for my wife and daughters and two son in laws and three grandkids.
2. I'm thankful for my warm house, warm showers, warm bed.
3. I'm thankful that I can breathe and walk and do some form of exercising.
4. I'm thankful that I can speak and share God's word.
5. I'm thankful for the body of Christ, the church and their friendships.
6. I'm thankful for the outreach opportunities God gives us.
7. I'm thankful for the Bible devotional challenge to do with others.
8. I give God the glory for lives that are changed and impacted at camp.
9. I give God glory for $38,000 donated so we can finish the sports aspect of our family center.
10. I give God glory for the $5,000 donated to help send kids to camp for 2020.
11. I give God the glory for all the retreats and functions already scheduled for 2020 starting with January through October.
12. I give God the glory for our new board members who want very much to see the Camp succeed and are volunteering their time to help.
13. I give God the glory for all the volunteers and donors who help support the camp ministry.
I could go on with the list. But thank you Lord for the many blessings in life and thank you for spiritual growth and for all that you do in and through me and my family and the camp.

I only have one song to share from ApologetiX for the book of Ezra.
It’s called Haggai Led the Way and it is a parody of Baby, I Love Your Way.

I’m thankful that God is in control. I feel blessed that I can put my life in his hands.
Amen, Janet!
I’m and thankful for grace and new mercies each day. Thank you Lord!
