1st Chronicles chapter 16.  Exalt, give thanks, praise constantly our God.

The Ark of God was placed inside the tent and they presented offerings before God. Levites were placed before the Ark to minister there in order to exalt and give thanks and praise to God. There was always someone ministering before the Lord. Instruments were played and singing occurred.

King David wanted God to be praised and thanked and exalted constantly. As a result, he gave a song of worship to be sung and he wanted priests constantly before the Lord exalting and thanking and praising him.
God desires us to praise him (Psalm 22:3, Psalm 29:2, Psalm 96:9). These passages let us know that God wants us to praise Him and to praise him because of his holiness; but also praise Him in holiness. Our life should be a daily worship to the Lord. How we live our life and the decisions we make should be decisions that are holy and as result please the Lord.
Lord help me to exalt you more. Help me to give thanks to you more. Help me to praise you more. But help my life to please you in all that I say and do. Amen
