Good morning Everyone!! I want to start with some questions. I care about what you may be going through. How are things going spiritually? What's going well and what's not going well? Any new prayer requests? Answer leaving out specifics if you don't want to share openly or send me an email response. I WANT TO PRAY FOR YOU!
1st Chronicles chapter 14. Seek God or Do IT Yourself!
The Lord established David as king and once the Philistines heard this they decided to attack King David. Twice the Philistines attacked King David and twice King David inquired of God if they should go out and fight them. God said yes and that He would be with them and they would defeat the Philistines. As a result of King David defeating the Philistines his Fame spread throughout every land and the Lord made all the nation's fear him.
What a difference between Saul as king and David as king. Saul did not inquire of the Lord when in need whereas King David did and God answered his prayers.
It's a continual reminder to me:
1. How I need to inquire and seek God for all aspects of my life.
2. It reminds me of Jeremiah 29:11-13 how
– God knows the plans for my life.
– I have the responsibility of calling upon the Lord and praying to him.
– And if I seek Him with all my heart then I'll find Him.
Some days I just need to stop all that I'm doing and be broken before God and seek him with all my heart and trust him.

It has been a blessing to participate in the Daily Bible Challenge. God continues to help me grow spiritually as we spend time in His Word. Can you believe that we are approaching the completion of one year of reading together this coming Valentine’s Day as we are about to enter into the month of February? Much has happened during that time and I look forward to the journey ahead.
When I was thinking today about the difference between King Saul and King David, I was reminded of John 15:4-5.
“Abide in Me (Jesus), and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in Me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.”
