Leviticus chapter 11.
The Lord spoke and told Moses and Aaron to share with the Israelites what was clean and unclean to eat and touch. Why? Because God wants people who are holy. As we move forward in our culture, God's Truth is being changed to truths that are attractive to what the people want vs what God wants. Even many church denominations are compromising truth. Some Don't preach salvation anymore, some preach just love and eliminate the need for repentance. Some preach that sexual sins are okay outside of marriage, gender issues are being redefined. Some promote hate toward the sinners instead of hate toward the sin. God is calling us out to be proclaimers of his truth without compromise and despite the consequences or persecution. 2nd Timothy 3:12 says “in fact everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.” Our message is unattractive too many and will result in persecution, but it's the message that brings life. God help us to be your holy people willing to be used by you in a lost world without compromising the truth but proclaiming it in love and with boldness in power and with authority. Not our authority but because of the Holy Spirit that lives and dwells within us that empowers us so that we can be confident, bold, and speak with power and authority….and LOVE!

Hello everyone! I am sending this comment as a TEST. Jim Asche is unable to send his comments. He keeps getting an error message saying NOT ACCEPTABLE. I’m checking to see if this will send or not. Could you all just send a little comment to see if it’s a problem with our server or if Jim has a problem on his end. Thank you everybody!
Speaking out is not something I’m good at. I’ve been thinking a lot about Aaron and his sons and the amount of responsibility they had and I think it comes down to fear for me. Fear of doing it wrong, of messing it up, of not doing it good enough, of criticism. There are too many times I think that I let fear rule whether I do something or not.
Good morning! I am answering to the test comment. I have had that message when trying to comment and try to reload or eventually give up lol. Hope to post more comments soon!
The few times that I have commented have worked just fine.
I’m not sure why it wasn’t working earlier for me.
I was thinking about Peter and the vision that he had in Acts 10 as I read Leviticus 11 today.
This is a great chapter that reminds us God wants to give us the knowledge of what is right and wrong, clean and unclean, holy or not holy. I also see what Blair mentioned, the church preaching only love and acceptance of all choices and behavior or complete condemnation and hate for those struggling and living in sin. I see people turn away from religion so fast because of this condemnation. It’s hard to see that but it is also hard to see so many people who I love disregarding the truth, Gods word and living in sin. I hope as we continue through the word I can get the tools and knowledge to help others in a loving and effective way, planting a small seed that can grow into a faith filled life.
