Exodus chapter 39.
The Obedience of the workers brought a blessing from Moses. God often said If my people obey he would bless them in many ways… With food, Health, land, Etc. To be blessed was a high honor. The fact that Moses blessed them was quite an honor and should be humbling and should act as a reminder that it's all God. The very Act of obedience that I did brought a blessing! Therefore:
1. It should act as a reminder to continue to be obedient to the Lord.
2. It should act as a reminder that apart from God I can do nothing for he's the one who gives me my gifts and abilities and helps me through his Holy Spirit.
3. It should act as a reminder to be humble. It's an easy word to say but not always easy to do. I am drawn towards a humble person so I pray God would help me to truly be humble.
4. It should act as a reminder to be thankful to God. To praise God. To give back to God a portion of the blessing. Or to act as a reminder to be a blessing to other's.
In reality, I should stop and just meditate on the blessings that I do have. Rather than take for granted the blessings God has given to me.
And when all is said and done I want God's name to be glorified. Not mine. I want God's name to be lifted up and praised. I want my Acts to point people to the Lord!!

Amen, Pastor Blair! I was thinking this morning how God was interested in every last detail of the tabernacle construction. The blueprints were His architecture and His design, just like us. Is this not proof that the Creator of the universe is concerned with even the little things in our lives? Matt 10:30 says God knows the number of hairs on our head. Even knowing this truth, I sometimes struggle to bring the small concerns in my life to Him. It’s not that I don’t think He can accomplish anything in His will, but rather where I see myself in the big picture. He made it clear when He sent His Son to die on the Cross and rise again that you and I are important. I don’t want to ever take anything away from His work on the Cross.
All i can think off, is how heavy everything was especially with all that gold.
loved Jeanines point….I sometimes take shortcuts to get the job done,God wants me to be patient…Im getting better at it.
I really like how this chapter ended with Moses seeing the work that the people completed and then he blessed them. I usually think of these people during this time that’s between when they were freed from slavery, but not yet entered into the Promised Land as just being a stiff-necked people who were whiners and complainers as I probably would have been too in the wilderness eating manna everyday, but here we see them stepping up to accomplish a mission that was given to them and doing it well! Not even Moses will be able to enter into the Promised Land, but there were times of obedience and blessing for the people in the wilderness as we read about in chapter 39. The younger generation can see the obedience and also the mistakes of the older generation. They have witnessed God’s blessings and curses. May we obey so others will see God’s work in us and through us as they remember God’s faithfulness when they may enter into a place that we might not see.
Amen to all!! <3
