Hey Friends!
Exodus chapter 33.
Two things stick out to me in this chapter.
1. Moses said teach me your ways so I'll always find favor with you God. We can't get enough of the Lord. We can't be content trying to live our life without God's word. So God give me a hunger and thirst for you so I will read and study your word and then help me live it. I want to absorb your truth. I want to live your truth. I want to be pleasing in your sight.
2. Moses said to God that if you aren't going with me then don't send us. I am reminded daily on how I can't do anything without the Lord. So I would be utterly foolish if I tried to run this camp without the Lord's leading. I'd be utterly foolish if I tried to do anything without the Lord. That's when we fail, when we strive to be in control of our life and life circumstances! I want and need the leading of the Holy Spirit.

It is amazing how the older you live to be the more you see and feel God’s hand leading you through each and every day. It is amazing to realize all the little tasks in your life that God is guiding you safely though. Praise God for his constant companionship!
Exodus 33:15 stuck out to me today. Then he said to Him, “If Your Presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here.” I can relate to that. If God doesn’t go with me wherever I’m going, then I don’t want to go and I know that I would definitely fail on my own.
Today’s chapter reminds me that we are all as close to God as we want to be. He will gladly take us as far as we want to go with Him but He won’t take us a step further than we desire. Since the Lord didn’t want to be in the midst of the camp, Moses didn’t either and pitched his tent outside camp. The same is true in our walk with the Lord – sometimes we need to pitch our tent outside the busyness of our lives so that we become aware of God’s presence once again. Even with daily devotions or participating in a Bible study, we can be distracted or caught up in something and lose focus. Don’t give up! Re-pitch that tent, tell Him that you really need to be in His presence and He’ll meet you there. It’s true – as this was my story last year.
Two verse that stood out to me.
14 The Lord replied, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” (pretty much, enough said.)
22 When my glory passes by, I will put you in a cleft in the rock and cover you with my hand until I have passed by. 23 Then I will remove my hand and you will see my back; but my face must not be seen.”
God would be too beautiful for a human being to look in the face.
Moses was an amazing person, blessed and honorable enough to be in favor with God. A verse that stood out to me was, Exodus 33:11 the Lord would speak to Moses, face to face, as one speaks to a friend. Moses would speak right back to the Lord and ask Him questions and seek clarification on things he is concerned with. God always answers Moses. I know they when we talk to God He is listening. He often answers all that we ask of Him. I hope that I can be like Moses, knowing and talking to God like a friend, listening to His voice and hearing His plan for my life.
