Amos Chapter 4. Don't be so Stubborn!

Once again we see Israel's stubbornness against God as God warns them of his coming wrath if they don't repent from their sins.
I looked up three passages regarding stubbornness. Here they are:

Proverbs 29:1
“He who is often reproved, yet stiffens his neck, will suddenly be broken beyond healing.”
This passage warns us that those who are stubborn will eventually be broken by God and the outcome will be a painful one.

Psalm 81:11-12
“But my people did not listen to my voice; Israel would not submit to me. So I gave them over to their stubborn hearts, to follow their own counsels.”
This passage shows how God will pursue us in hopes of finding obedience, repentance, and holiness. But if we are stubborn, God will eventually let us enjoy the desires of our stubborn hearts which will eventually result in painful consequences. It may affect us physically, emotionally, mentally, and will definitely affect us spiritually.

Romans 2:5
“But because of your hard and impenitent heart you are storing up wrath for yourself on the day of wrath when God's righteous judgment will be revealed.”
Eventually, if we stay stubborn and don't repent, we will face the righteous and fair judgment of God. He may pass judgment on Earth in hopes of invoking change, but if we maintain our stubbornness we'll eventually face the judgment that occurs after our physical death.  At that point, we face the FINAL righteous judgment of God which is fair and irreversible and it's too late to change.
So let's get right with God now rather than wait until it's too late.
