| Ezekiel chapter 8. False idols. God gives Ezekiel a vision. He sees the idol of jealousy. God confronts all the Israelites for all their idol worshiping. God said their worshiping of false idols was detestable. Anything we value over God is an idol and it's detestable. What are things or people that we value over God? Be honest! Is it our job, our money, our projects, our toys, sports? What consumes most of our time? Has it become our God? Or is it covered under the Lordship of our Savior Jesus Christ? |
