Ezekiel Chapter 2. What is God's call on your life?

In Chapter 2 we get to see the interaction that occurs between God and Ezekiel when God called Ezekiel into Ministry. I want to replicate how Ezekiel responded to God. Here's a breakdown which actually starts at the end of chapter 1 through chapter 2:
1) God approaches Ezekiel and Ezekiel responds in brokenness and humility before God, falling face down before the Lord. Probably feeling unworthy to be in God's presence. We too need to fall before God in brokenness. Am I broken before God? Am I humbly coming into his presence recognizing that he is God and I am a mere servant? What's keeping me from entertaining the thought that God may have a Ministry for me? Is my pain or suffering from a previous Church fellowship holding me back? Do I have bitterness toward God over something in my life? Is fear a factor? Do I feel unworthy?
2) As God spoke to Ezekiel he told him to stand in his presence. Why? Because God wanted him to know that he was Worthy of the calling. He wanted Ezekiel to receive the calling with pride and confidence and not in “ungodly humility” where he says, “Oh, I can't do that.” or “I'm not qualified!” NO!! God wants to use me for the Kingdom. He wants to use me to present his words of truth. So I need to set aside time each day to be before the Lord and read his word from the Bible and speak my heart to him. Because of my relationship with Christ I am worthy of the calling.
3) So what's the mission God has for me right now? Wherever I am that is my mission field. Someday he may call me elsewhere but wherever you are see it as your mission field. So how can you love others where you're at? Let the Holy Spirit empower you to share your life testimony about Jesus and don't be afraid.
4) It has to be done. God tells Ezekiel he has to share His words. The people are dying in their sins and they have to hear the truth. Tell them whether they listen or don't listen.  But don't be afraid of them.
5) Be careful. There will ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS, AKWAYS be temptations to participate in sinful practices from those to whom you are ministering to.  There will always be the temptation to try and fit in so that you can “minister” to them. God tells Ezekiel, and is telling us, don't compromise your faith.
6) Stay in the Word of God. God's Word is the Way the Truth and the Life. We have to feed on it. God gave Ezekiel his words to feed on and then were to be shared with the nation.  We too need to feed on God's Word daily. You have to be in the Word of God. You can't share it if you don't know it.
Blessings!
