Lamentations chapter 3. Here's some thoughts to chew on.

Here's a few things that stuck out to me from this chapter:
1) There's always HOPE so never give up. Are you listening? The devil says there's no hope, so give up. Don't listen to the devil!
2) It says that God's love is so great that His compassions never fail. In fact His compassions are new and refreshed every morning.  I take great comfort in this passage. There are times when I sin and seem to do the same sin everyday. I turn to God for forgiveness each time and wonder when he quits forgiving. But His compassion is new everyday willing to show his love and forgiveness. Even when I don't deserve it.
3) When we walk in sin and God disciplines us, it says don't complain about it. Don't act as if you didn't deserve it. Look at discipline, not as God's hateredness, but rather as a form of his love and compassion. He does it because he wants us to see how wrong sin is and repent from it. Accept his discipline versus complaining about it. It's there to help us be Holy before God.
4) When troubles come, cry to the Lord. He hears your prayers and only He can redeem you from your troubles. Always turn to the Lord!
