Jeremiah Chapter 31. I don't think you realize how much God truly truly truly loves you!
This chapter gives a great picture of God's “everlasting love”, “unfailing kindness” and His “desire to restore” his people. The great news from this chapter is, “There is Hope.” There is Always Hope! Though the people “weeped” with many “tears”, God declared His coming deliverance. As a result, the people will “celebrate” their love for God with “joy”. God will again “build them up” so they “prosper” and they will again take “delight” in “corporate worship”! People will acknowledge their sin in “brokeness” and “shame”. If only we could make this personal for ourselves.
1) God has for YOU an Everlasting Love.
2) God has for YOU, His Unfailing Kindness.
3) God Loves YOU and takes Delight in YOU!
4) God Yearns for YOU and has Great Compassion for YOU.
5) God wants to Restore YOU so that:
- YOU are Filled with Joy for Him.
- YOU delight to Worship Him again Corporately.
- YOU Prosper again for His Glory.
- YOU recognize your sin NOW so YOU don't go down the slippery slope of increased sin.
