Jeremiah chapter 29. God has a plan and purpose for your life.

Here's a quick background of this chapter. The Israelites have lived in sin and disobeyed God over and over and over again. He had Babylon take them into exile where they were forced to live. Typically speaking you would feel that you would want to escape such a place. But God says to them: Go with them and settle there like it's your own place and increase in numbers because there's hope. In 70 years I will return you to your own Nation.

Vs 11-13 God tells them I have a plan and purpose for your life. I want you to prosper and not live in doom and gloom. Here's all you have to do:

1) Seek me with all your heart. 2) Come and pray to me.

You do these two things and I will reveal my plan and purpose for your life.
Let this be a lesson to us. Perhaps where we are at we feel like we are in exile because it's a place of discomfort, but know there's hope in every situation. Let us realize God has a plan and purpose for our lives. So let us seek him with all our heart and pray to him daily and Trust in his timing and he will reveal that plan and purpose so that we can prosper, but more importantly so the Gospel can prosper in the land he calls us. He may not call you to a new location but change your heart and attitude in your present location so that he can work in and through your life. But at the same time, he may call you to a new calling and new vocation in a new place. We won't find out until we seek him with all our hearts and pray to him. Hope you all have a great day!
