Jeremiah Chapter 1. What is my calling from God?
I took a lot of notes for this chapter but will try and condense it in a short form.
1) God called Jeremiah and God is calling us to get his word out.
2) Jeremiah made an excuse why he couldn't . What is our excuse?
3) Be obedient and go where God calls you.
4) When God gives us something to say, speak his truth in love.
5) There will always be opposition even when we speak his truth in love.
6) When we speak, God's goal is to destroy evil and plant seeds of Truth, righteousness, and Salvation.
7) Don't be afraid. Don't be terrified. God is with us.
Don't let excuses keep you from walking in faith. I'm too young . I'm too old. I don't have enough money. I'm not smart enough. God can't use me. I'm too fat. I'm too skinny. I'm too ugly. I'm stuck in a rut. I'll never be able to accomplish the vision or dream God put into my heart.
Time to push excuses aside and let God be who he wants to be in and through our lives! We are His beautiful creation, worthy of His Calling!!!!!!! Don't forget it!
