Daily Bible Challenge: Day 626 Psalms Chapter 148

If I had to describe in six words what this whole chapter said, it would be: Let All Creation Praise the Lord.

As I was reading it, my mind thought of different Scriptures in the Bible.

1. Philippians 2:8-11 where it says one day every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.

2. Which made me think of those who fight God on Earth and either deny his existence with their words or deny his existence with their life. Titus 1:16 says they claim to know God, but by their actions they deny Him.

3. Then my mind thought of the rich ruler who died and went to hell and pleaded that someone would go back and tell his unbelieving brothers that God is real. But at that point it's too late.

We can have a true and living relationship with Jesus now giving him praise and honor while confessing him to others as Lord.

OR

We can die in our sins and then have reality hits us that we are separated from God forever. At this point we will confess him as Lord and praise him in hopes that we can enter into heaven but it will be too late.

I fear for those who are against the Lord and proclaim to the world with their words or actions that there is no God only to find out there is. They will realize they rejected the very means that would unite them with God, that is Jesus Christ.

– I choose this day to live for and serve our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

– I vow to proclaim his name with my words and my actions so that others might believe.

– I vow NOW to praise Him, not just with songs but with my words and my actions rather than wait till it's too late.
