Psalms Chapter 132. God's Dwelling Place.
I Love You guys!  Continued Prayers for this group.
This chapter talks about God's dwelling place. I love David's heart regarding finding a place for God to dwell. David's Heart, I wish we all could have. He makes a Vow to not enter his own house and bed and not to sleep until he finds a place for God to dwell.
You know we live in a busy world with so much going on. If you ask someone how their quiet time with God is, the most common answer is, “I'm too busy”. David was a king, running a nation and fighting battles. He was busy. But he took time to find a place for God to dwell so that the whole nation could come and worship God. What's neat is that at the same time, God too was looking for a dwelling place and he chose Zion. Today God chooses each of us to be a dwelling place through His Holy Spirit. All we need to do is respond by receiving his Son Jesus into our lives and God will come and dwell with us through his Holy Spirit. Oh that we would stop our busy life and seek the Lord Jesus. Oh that we would say, I'm not going to eat my meal or go to bed until I've had my quiet time with the Lord. I will not watch another TV or play another video game until I read God's Word.
Thank You God that you want to dwell with me, a sinner. Thank you for your forgiveness through Jesus Christ. Thank you that I can dwell with you! Amen.
