Psalms Chapter 113. Lay your burdens down.
In this chapter we are called to praise the Lord now and forever more from the time we get up till the time we go to bed. He is worthy of our praises! A question is asked, Who is like our God? Nobody is like our God. It says that God helps those in need: the poor and needy and women wanting to have children.
In other words, God understands our pain. So 2 CHALLENGES:
1. What is your need right now? Take it to the Lord in prayer. Seriously, lay your burdens down before the Lord and trust him to intervene. Matthew 11:28 Jesus says, “Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
Challenge 2. Who do you know that is hurting in some way? Be God's hands and feet and reach out to them. What we do can be the one thing that brings hope to somebody's life today.
God, show me a need that I can reach out to today.
Know that you are greatly loved and appreciated!!
