Psalm Chapter 58. Be a leader with integrity.
Blessings to you all!
The psalmist confronts the leaders because of how unfair they are. Plus they are wicked in their ways.
How am I as a leader? I want to be a man who leads with integrity. I want to plan in ways that benefit and help others. I like to identify needs and then think of ways to meet the needs.
For example:
1. As a leader in my home, I want to love my wife and make her feel valuable and important. I want to show my appreciation for her. I want to serve her and help with needs around the house. She has Plantar Fasciitis so I will massage her heels. I try and compliment her more.
2. As the leader of Edinboro Camp, I see needs in the community and I reached out to help meet those needs.
3. We prayed how God could use us in helping people during the coronavirus pandemic.
Having said all that, I can also share how I neglect needs when I selfishly get caught up in myself.
As a leader, I want to love and serve others. I want to encourage others and build them up. When people come along and volunteer and help with the camp, I appreciate it. I'm glad they do. But I want their support because they see me as a man who leads with integrity and believe in the vision that is cast. I want them to see within the vision the value of loving others and meeting needs.
Great leaders impact lives and it starts at home!  God, help me be more consistent!
