Psalm chapter 35. Fight our battles.
The psalmist immediately calls out to God to fight his battles against his enemies. He says he will rejoice and delight in the Lord. He prays for deliverance and proclaims that his tongue will speak of the Lord's righteousness and praises all day long.
God wants to fight our battles because it's not by our might nor by our power but it's by the spirit of the Lord that we are able to have victory each day (Zechariah 4:6).
I immediately thought of a song titled “Surrounded Fight our Battles.”
Thought I'd share it with you today. You may have to CUT/PASTE the link below.

In addition to Zechariah 4:6, this chapter also made me think of a few other verses today.
Ephesians 6:10-12
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
1 Peter 5:8
Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.
1 Corinthians 15:57
But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
