Psalm Chapter 19. Our God is MAJESTIC!
The psalmist speaks of two things that gives evidence of his majesty:
1. GOD'S CREATION. God's creation is so detailed and majestic that creation itself supports the idea of a Creator versus “by chance”. Nothing so majestic and detailed happens “by chance”.
2. GOD'S WORDS AND LAWS. God's Words and Laws are worth living for. In fact they are worth dying for. Just like his creation, there's nothing like it. Words in this chapter describing God's Words and Laws are:
Perfect. Refreshing. Wise. Light. Firm. Righteous. Precious. Sweet. It warns us and it is to be feared for it reveals our sins and faults.
Because of how majestic God is, as demonstrated through his creation, and because God's Law and Words are so majestic we should take heed to what the rest of the chapter challenges us to do:
1. To be blameless in God's sight.
2. To let every word and thought that we have to be pleasing in God's sight.
As the psalmist points out, it's hard to recognize our own sins as faults. We focus more on the sins of others.
God forgive me of my sins while helping me become more aware of them so that I will be righteous and blameless in your sight.

There is so much contained in this chapter from the very first verse where we read about how the heavens declare the glory of God! This verse is sometimes used to explain how God’s creation itself points to Him for all of us to be aware of and this includes those who may have not had the opportunity to clearly hear the gospel. Those who reject God as the Creator are without excuse as we read about in Romans 1:18-20.
For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For His invisible attributes, namely, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.
