Psalm Chapter 15. Honoring others.
The psalmist, in verse 1 and 2 asks the questions:
1. Lord, who may dwell in your sanctuary?
2. Who may live on your Holy Mountain?
The psalmist answers the question giving many examples of what God is looking for.
One of the examples the psalmist gives is:  to dwell with God is to be able to honor those who fear God!
So today I want to honor someone named Jordan.
I had a long talk with Jordan the other day who used to be in our youth group. His desire for the things of the Lord is tremendous. I was impressed with his passion for the Lord. I was impressed with his desire for Holiness in Ministry. I was impressed with his desire to help hurting families.
He had a plan and God was opening the door for those plans to be met. God was actually meeting his needs he prayed for.
He wants to run a ministry and God is opening doors for a location for the summer. He raised funds for a needy family whose water was going to be shut off. He's sharing God's word with those he comes in contact with. He and his fiance both want to serve the Lord together. I want to see him succeed In Christ.
I want to honor him because what I see in his heart and action and attitude is what I want for me continually. It's what I want to see for my loved ones.  It's what I want to see for those in Ministry.
Who do you want to honor today and why?
