Psalm Chapter 7. Be a person of integrity.
What I found interesting with this passage is King David's desire to be a man of God with integrity. He wanted to be a great representation of a man of God. He even wanted to make sure that anything done against his enemies was justifiable, fair and right before God. He did not want to unjustifiably do something against them. What's even more interesting, King David was a warrior and fought many battles against his enemies. But he never wanted to fight a war unless God was in it.
Oh that we could be so conscious of our behaviors and thoughts around those who are against us. Or around those we have negative feelings toward. May we strive to be people with godly integrity. May we want to love our enemies as God loves us even when we act against Him. May we be willing to put into practice Matthew 5:44 that says, “Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.”
