Esther chapter 10. Be Faithful.
In this chapter we get a recap of Mordecai's faithfulness to God and the blessings from the Lord.
The main word that comes to my mind with this chapter is FAITHFUL. We need to always be faithful to the Lord.
1. Being faithful never compromises.
2. Being faithful is being willing to make sacrifices resulting in not enjoying all the things of the world so you can have a stronger relationship with the Lord.
3. Being faithful may mean not obtaining all the financial blessings you want so that your time with God is not hindered.
4. Being faithful may mean being persecuted but you know that the rewards in heaven outweigh any pain we may suffer here on Earth.
The bottom line is, BE FAITHFUL TO THE LORD!
At the end of this last chapter of Esther, we read about how Mordecai spoke peace to all his people.
I’m reminded of Psalm 122:8-9.
For my brothers and companions’ sake I will say, “Peace be within you!” For the sake of the house of the Lord our God, I will seek your good.
