I Chronicles Chapter 1. You reap what you sow.
In this chapter we read about many genealogies starting with Adam to Abraham. From Noah we see where many sons were born who produced many sons who produced many sons who produced many sons who produced many sons. From that we see many countries were formed. There were God's chosen people plus there were those who developed into countries that became enemies of God and God's people.
What started out to be a perfect world was broken by sin and resulted in many walking away from the Lord. Generation after generation walked away from God. WOW! HOW COULD THAT BE? HOW COULD THAT HAPPEN? it happens just the same way it does today.
Galatians chapter 6 says we reap what we sow which means: eventually you will face the consequences of your actions and Life choices. If you sow to please your sinful nature, then you reap destruction. You end up passing your life choices on to your children, who end up passing those Life choices on to their children. This is generally true except when you see where God intervenes and one of the family members gets saved and breaks the pattern of destruction.
On the other hand, if you sow to please the spirit, then you reap eternal life. You produce God followers. This is generally true because Satan also will get his foot in the door of somebody's heart which ends up breaking the generation of righteousness and Christ followers.
Two Questions:
1. Are you sowing seeds that will produce Christ-followers in your family. Or
2. Are you sowing seeds that will produce a family who is too busy for Jesus because they're caught up with the things of this world?

May we be people who are all about sowing seeds that produce Christ-followers just as Pastor Blair has already shared with us.
I’m only aware of one ApologetiX song that goes along with 1 Chronicles. There may be more, but this is the only one that I’m familiar with.
It’s a parody of Christine Sixteen by Kiss and it’s called This Team’s Extreme.
Here’s the link.
