Good morning and Thank you everyone for your ongoing daily readings and sharing!!
Exodus chapter 6. If God says he will do something, then it will happen. But it will happen in his timing not ours. And it will happen the way he wants it to happen and not our way. I repeat: it will happen his way and in his timing.
1. Therefore we need faith.
2. We need to be patient and wait upon the Lord.
3. And we need to persevere and not give up.
Discouragement is the tool of the devil. Pharaoh's response to Moses first confrontation resulted in disaster for the Israelites which brought discouragement to Moses and Israelites both. We get discouraged when we expect God to work in our timing or in our way. God is not bound by our expectations so we need Faith with patience and perseverance.
Faith without patience and perseverance equals discouragement.

“Moses spoke thus to the people of Israel, but they did not listen to Moses, because of their broken spirit and harsh slavery.”
I wonder how many times that I am like the people who Moses spoke to in Exodus 6:9? God may have something good for me, but I’m too focused on something negative that I miss out on the positive. May we be encouraged by all that God really has for us and not discouraged by all that the devil wants us to think we have!
30 But Moses said to the Lord, “Since I speak with faltering lips, why would Pharaoh listen to me?”
Is it no confidence or him trying to get out Gods command?
A theme I see with this chapter and Moses is TRUST. We must trust in the Lord with all our heart, and lean NOT on our own understandings. Moses is having a difficult time with this, and there are so many times in my life I do as well. We must submit ourselves to Him fully, and in all our ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct our path! Proverbs 3
