Matthew Chapter 13.  The Kingdom of God, it doesn't get any better than that.
Jesus spoke in parables and the disciples asked why he did that.
Jesus wasn't one who tried to shove his truth down people's throats. The parables were ways to spark interest in the hearts of people using real life, everyday situations that the Listener could relate with. Amongst the parables were hidden Truths. Those whose hearts were sparked and wanted to learn more would seek it out.
That's the way it should be for us. There are great truths about the salvation found in Christ, but to shove it down people's throats gets poor results. Living the Christian Love Life, through your words and actions, will attract non-believers. They're seeing your faith being played out in real life situations and it will spark an interest in their lives resulting in them seeking out the very thing that you have to offer. You've captured their heart and now you can tell the truth of the Salvation of Jesus because their hearts are open to hear. To just go in and start declaring God's Salvation without capturing their heart, or without them seeing what this real Christianity looks like, makes getting results more difficult.
Two truths that jumped out at me from the parables are:
1. That the kingdom of God is worth giving up everything for. Everything!! It's worth living for and worth dying for.
2. Having a lack of faith results in not seen the power of God. What am I missing in life because of my lack of faith?
