Hosea chapter 11. If only we could realize what God really does for us.
Even during Israel's rebellion against God, God shows great love and compassion. He prophesies of the coming of his son Jesus to the earth. It's not God's desire to show his wrath, but he wants his creation to love him and serve him. He wants us to realize the blessings in our lives are from him. Let's stop and ponder God's Great love. Let's stop and ponder the blessings we have and then give God glory and praise. Let us share these blessings with others as a testimony of who God is.
Most recently, I expressed the desire for a laptop because the one that I was using was borrowed. I expressed the need at Church Sunday and Monday morning a gentleman from church called and said he's got a laptop for me that he repaired and updated.
God loves us and cares for us.
The Lord has also answered my prayer in helping with my website that will help promote me as a speaker. Check it out. God did some neat things through the gifts of others.
Really though, every day I eat is a blessing from God. Every day I walk is a blessing from God. Every day I breathe is a blessing from God. Every day I have a roof over my head and a place to sleep is a blessing from God. My family and my friends are a blessing from God. Having an income is a blessing from God. I'm a child of the king and he's given me Salvation through his Son. I pray I can share my blessings with others so they can come to know the Lord and recognize his love for them.
