Daniel Chapter 12. The end is coming. Are you ready?

Daniel, still in his vision, is told of the end times. There will be a time of great distress that has never before been experienced. But the followers of Christ, those whose names are written in the Book of Life, will be delivered. There will be a judgment on all creation, those who have already died and those who are still alive. Some will experience everlasting life while others will experience eternal damnation.
In Daniel's vision, he saw two men (probably two angels), and the one asked the other, “How long before these astonishing things are fulfilled?”
The discussion between the two men is not easily interpreted. But what is clear, this chapter is speaking of the end times as described in the Book of Revelation. There will be a great distress on this earth. But God's people will be delivered from this life of  distress on earth when Jesus returns for his church, the true followers. Then all people will enter before God's judgment. Those whose names are found written in the Book of Life will enter into eternal life with the Lord in Heaven. Those whose names who rejected Jesus, and therefore their names are not found in the Book of Life, will enter eternal damnation, Hell.

This is real for all of us. It's not a game. We can't play Russian roulette with our souls and hope we make it to heaven. The answer is only in a surrendered relationship with Christ. Are you a follower of Christ? Or better yet, are you following Christ? Think about it! We can't afford not to think about it. We're talking eternity.
1) Eternal life in heaven or
2) Eternal life in hell.
