| Ezekiel chapter 14. Where my heart is is where my treasures will be. Some men came before Ezekiel to inquire of the Lord. But their hearts had turned to idols so God wanted nothing to do with their requests. Instead he called them to repent. He wanted them to get right before the Lord. What would God say to me today as I come before him in prayer? What sin have I let creep into my heart? What sin do I need to turn from? Do I delight more in what people have to say about me versus what God has to say about me? Do I delight more in the praises of people than I do the praises of my God? What's really important to me because where my heart is, is where my treasures or attention will be? God, help me to be captivated with you more than any thing or more than anyone! |
