Ezekiel Chapter 13. Are you promoting Jesus or not?

In this chapter Ezekiel was told to prophesy against the false prophets. The Lord is against the false prophets because they are leading people astray with their false words. They are discouraging the righteous who want to be righteous and encouraging evil to continue. Jesus said in Matthew 12:30 that “He who is not with me is against me and he does not gather people for me is scattering them.”
The false prophets claim to be from God but in reality they were not from God because they were really against God because what they said was not from God so it gave a false message to God's people and was leading them astray. People with good intentions can end up leading people astray if they are not connected to the Lord through a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Jesus said if you're not gathering people with the gospel and for the kingdom, then you are really scattering them away from the Lord. You see, if you're not promoting Jesus then in reality you are presenting ideas and thoughts and behaviors that give the idea to others that Jesus is not necessary.
My question is, is what I'm promoting with my heart and words and actions, actually pointing people to Jesus? Because if it's not, then it's pointing them away from Jesus. It doesn't matter if you say, “I'm not pointing them to Jesus but I'm not trying to point them away from Jesus either.” Don't you get it? To not point someone to Jesus is just naturally pointing them to the world without Jesus.
We need to be more intentional with our motives, our actions, and our words. We can't be ashamed of our faith and act as if we're an unbeliever. We need to be loving people and encouraging people to the Lord and not away from him. What can you do or say today that would help someone know that Jesus is the way for Salvation?
