| Jeremiah Chapter 33. God's Promise of Restoration. God makes a promise that he wants to restore Judah and Israel with himself. That is His true desire. God wants us to be restored with him through a relationship with Jesus. It's easy to get off track. There are so many things that can happen that end up distracting our full attention off of the Lord. Some distractions we consider “good” things, and some are things we rationalize about and we tell ourselves that we're doing just fine when in reality we need God's help to forgive us and restore us. 1) We need to confess our mistakes and sins to God. 2) We need to repent from our sins or wrongdoings. 3) We need to let the Lord restore us where he wants us spiritually. We need to change! Sadly, our human minds like to feel there's nothing wrong with our spiritual life. When in reality, God's always working on us in some area of weakness. Therefore let us pray for God to reveal where we need his help to change. CHALLENGE: 1) Stop right now and pray for God's help. 2) In fact, pray daily for his revelation of your sins. 3) And pray for his help to overcome it. Then get ready, for God will reveal and start working towards restoration. Don't fight against him! |
