Isaiah chapter 65. A new Heaven and a new Earth.
Isaiah reveals God's heart for us. Here's the good news:
1) God is seeking us so he can have a relationship with us through his son Jesus.
2) To those who receive the gift of his son, walking in the light and not in darkness, to them receive eternal life!
3) Isaiah speaks of the coming new Heaven and new earth set aside for all believers where there will be no more death, no pain, no crying and no weeping.
This new Heaven and New Earth is spoken about in Revelation 21:1-4. It says:
Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”
The bad news is, for those who choose a life without Christ, not walking in faith, they face eternal damnation in hell.
Revelations 20:14-15 says,
Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.
