Isaiah Chapter 35. The Joy of the Redeemed.
The joy of the redeemed is spoken of in this chapter and it's done so by comparing it to a desert like place.
It says, the desert will be glad and rejoice and blossom. There will be water gushing in the desert with great growth.
This is a small picture of the coming redemption found through Jesus Christ.
The blind will see. The death here. The lame leap and walk. The mute speak and rejoice. The growth will be people walking in holiness.
We are told to share the good news. Let us share the good news of Jesus because people need to hear it. When people receive Christ there's a life changing event.
There's a transformation. People will repent of their sins and walk in holiness. They will praise the Lord with great joy realizing their newness in Christ.
Have we experienced the transformation power that comes from a surrendered life to the Lord through Jesus Christ? Is there power in your life? Or are you just playing the game and the evident power of the Holy Spirit in your life is not evident?
Let us daily surrender to the Lord and be empowered by the Holy Spirit to walk in holiness while sharing the good news with joy to others.
