Daily Bible Challenge: Day 698 Isaiah Chapter 19

This chapter reminds me of what's going on in today's world. Egypt is serving other gods. God allows conflict to occur amongst them. People are fighting against people. Eventually, some of Egypt responds to the Lord out of fear and despair. They commit to the Lord and God works in their lives and even brings peace amongst their enemies. God brings three nations together that were enemies toward each other, Egypt, Assyria and Israel. They all worship the Lord together.

Today, we have a nation/Nations who are not serving the Lord. The USA is compromising God's word to the point where our culture has defined truth rather than the word of God. Therefore we see our nation in great dissension. People are fighting amongst themselves. We have increase riots and killings. People have lost their jobs and are struggling to get food. My prayer is that people will seek the Lord. God can take two people who hate each other and cause them to love each other and worship God together.

My prayer is for a new Awakening in 2021. My prayer is that we'd see more and more people in the USA begin to worship God to the point that it becomes a testimony and witness to others of the hope and healing and salvation that can be found in Jesus.

My prayer is that this Salvation would break through the hearts of those around us and bring the enemies of our streets together so they can worship the Lord together.

Let us pray for a New Awakening that starts first in our own lives.

Then let our changed lives be a testimony and witness to others that God's Love is real and that there is hope in Jesus for our broken lives.

Then let's pray for the lives of those around us, including our enemies, that God would change them as well. Resulting in us worshiping the Lord together!
