Isaiah chapter 10. Invest into the life of a “bad” person.
In this chapter, it talks about how God's wrath will come upon those who take advantage of the widows and the fatherless, those who deprive the poor of their rights and oppress others.
When is the last time I reached out and loved on a kid with no father? In fact, what often ends up happening, the kid has behavioral issues because of a lack of a father figure in his home. So when we see the kid, we want nothing to do with them.  God needs someone who is willing to step into their lives and invest into their lives. Someone willing to show love, mercy, compassion, and firmness that's still coated with love. Such responses will be what God uses to bring down the walls of a kid's hurt and pain and thus bring hope and light into the world of a kid. As a result, it ends up being what changes their behaviors and lives.
God put me into a position where I can help love the hurting.
CHALLENGE:
Help us invest into the life of a “bad” person.  It might be a kid or it might be an adult who is still suffering from their childhood pains and hurts. Yet we don't see that because we're to focused on their behaviors and not their hurts.
6) his government will not be like our government. His will be great and full of peace rather than dissension, fighting, hating, lies and bickering.
7) HIs government will have Justice and righteousness.
In the second half of this chapter we see the Lord is angry against Israel because of their sin and refusal to repent from their sin. God proclaims that their enemies will devour and overtake them because their wickedness burns like fire and spreads over the whole nation. As a result, God's wrath will consume them.

CHALLENGE:

We will live on this Earth for a very short time. Then comes eternity. Either Heaven or hell. The question we need to ask ourselves, are we living for Jesus or not? Let us not be like Israel and justify all our sins. Let us instead repent and receive Jesus for eternal life.
