Daily Bible Challenge: Day 633 Proverbs Chapter 5

Good morning Friends!

This chapter talks about adultery which is often associated with pursuing a relationship with another person's spouse. That is adultery, but pursuing anything or anyone in this world over God is adultery against God. When your number one love is no longer for the Lord Almighty, then you have committed adultery against God. That leads to death because there's one relationship that we can have that leads to life eternal and that's a relationship with God through his Son Jesus Christ.

If we become enticed by someone or something and find ourselves flirting with people or habits or addictions, eventually our relationships will be affected. You will hurt your relationship first with God and then your spouse or parents or children or family members or church and on and on….

1. How's your relationship with Jesus? Is He number 1 in your life?  Are you drawn to Him?  Do you want Him to be the foundation for all your relationships?

2. What are the things in this world that you find so attractive that it affects your love relationship with God and others?

3. Who in this world do you find yourself attracted to that you find yourself wanting to be connected with them, or text them or “innocently” flirt with them?

Take a serious look at your life and determine is there are things or relationships you need to give to the Lord, or give up, so you can get right with Him and others?
