Psalms Chapter 110. Jesus rules!
Another beautiful day!  I appreciate you all!
Psalm 110 is the most quoted Psalm in the New Testament. It gives an enormous amount of emphasis on Jesus being and having lordship over all people and all things. Verse 1 the psalmist says, “The Lord says to my Lord, sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.”
The psalmist is referring to Jesus. In other words: “God says to Jesus sit at my right hand (which also denotes lordship) until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet (in other words, I will bring everything under submission to you).
Vs 2-3 reveals that Jesus's Lordship and Authority will be carried out through his followers. We too have been given all authority from Jesus so we can go into all the world and preach the gospel with authority. Matthew 28:18-20 remind us that all authority and power of Jesus has been given to us so that we can go into all the world to preach the gospel.
Luke 10:17 is an example of 72 of Jesus's disciples going out and preaching in Jesus's name. When they come back it says, “The 72 returned with joy and said Lord even the demons submit to us in your name!”
Ephesians 1:18-23 is a great passage.
1. It tells us there's Hope in Jesus.
2. That the same power that Rose Jesus from the dead is the same power that we have available to us to live a victorious Life and to go into the world and preach the Good News.
3. That Jesus does indeed sit at the right hand of the throne of God.
4. That God has placed Jesus in a place of authority and that everything else falls beneath his feet.
Here's the passage – Ephesians 3:18-23:
18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, 19 and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength 20 he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, 21 far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. 22 And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, 23 which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.
