Psalms Chapter 103. Praise the Lord ALWAYS!
I continue to ready your comments and appreciate everything that is shared.  I enjoy your words of inspiration.  Thanks!
In this chapter we are called to praise the Lord. Then the psalmist says there's so much to praise God for. There are so many benefits that comes from God. We could praise him all day long and it wouldn't be enough. His benefits (what he does for us) is magnificent.
I have made 2 observations in life regarding people praising the Lord:
1. People who are in trouble, or go through very difficult times, are quick to turn to the Lord for help. They repent of their sins and they start going to church again, they're reading their Bibles again and praying & praising more. Then once God begins to intervene and put their lives back in order, and help them cope with their given situations, and deliver them from the enemies attack, they slowly or maybe even quickly reduce their time with God. Their praise and worship to God decreases greatly. It almost comes across as, “I don't need you anymore God.”
2. My second observation is not as obvious as the first. This is the Christian who praises God every Sunday in church. Their faith is real and they are sincere. You see them at church and they raise their hands. They love the Lord. They are in the scriptures reading and pray. But their daily life, outside of church, is not filled with praises. They worry more over the daily activities. They find it difficult to see God in every situation they encounter. So their life of Praise is limited mostly to Sundays or to answered prayers.
It would be easy to judge the first person, but in reality, we all fall short of giving God the praise and glory and honor he deserves. I'd like to brag that I'm not the first person, but I fall short so many times like the second person in praising and rejoicing in the Lord always, Philippians 4:4. I seem to forget that God is on the throne and in control.
Dear Lord, help me not forget your benefits mentioned in this chapter: redemption, forgiveness, healer, love, compassion, Mercy, blessing, helper! Then may I praise you more.
Amen
