Psalms Chapter 92. I think I'm getting old!
Thanks for being a Blessing!!!
In this chapter it says, “The righteous will bear fruit even in their old age!”
Hey! There's hope for me! Lol
On a serious note, there are different thoughts people entertain as they approach retirement age. Some say it, while others Live out their thoughts.  A common thought is, “I've put my time in. Now I just want to enjoy life. Let the younger generation put their time in now.”
Okay, there's wisdom in having the younger generation step up, but it can't be an excuse for the older generation to “quit”.  As long as we are living and able, we have this command from Jesus to make disciples. That means we have to reach the Lost and then once they are reached they need to be Discipled so they can grow in their faith and ultimately become those who disciples others, who then disciples others, who then disciples others, etc.
(I feel like the church is failing when it comes to training Christians to reach the lost and then disciple them.)
Even the older generation can reach those in their surroundings. Who they reach changes as they get older. If I end up in a home, I want to reach those who live in the home. I want to share Christ with them and disciple them. I don't ever want to quit.
God help me reach the lost and then help me disciple them into a deeper relationship with you.  In Jesus's Name, Amen!
