Daily Bible Challenge: Day 562 Psalms Chapter 84

You are a BLESSING!!!!!!!!!!!

The psalmist talks about 2 things:

1. His Heart for God.

2. God's Blessings.

1. Man's Heart for God:

Can we say what the psalmist said? To dwell with God is the most lovely and awesome thing one can do. In fact he'd rather spend one day with God vs 1000 days someplace else. His heart and soul yearns and faints for God!  Does mine?

This is an example of one who loves the Lord God with all their heart soul mind and strength. There's no other option. This is the first and greatest commandment. There's no better option. This is what God is looking for from us. He's not looking for something kind of close to it. He's looking for the heart that loves him, that wants to be with him, that hungers and thirsts for him. That loves him so much. Can that be said of me? Am I willing to go and dwell wherever he leads me? Am I willing to dwell with him even if he leads me to a desert or rough waters?

2. God's Response to Man. God's blessings fall upon us when:

-We are in his presence praising him.

-We lean on his strength and not our own.

-Our hearts are on a mission for him.

-We trust him.

Thank you for your blessings God as I come before you with praises. Thank you for your blessings God has I lean on you for your strength and not my own. My heart does yearn for the mission you have for us, and I do trust you. Thank you for your blessings that came yesterday, that comes today, and we will see tomorrow.
