Psalms Chapter 30. Considerate it a joy!
Verse 11 and 12 stood out to me because it shows that God is into transformation. He's into conforming us into the image of Christ (Romans 8:29).
Transformation is a process of change. To change into something means changing from something. So to change into the image of Jesus is changing our old way into God's new way. Unfortunately, that happens through difficult situations, trials and tribulations (James 1:2-4). In fact, we are to consider it pure joy when we go through trials and tribulations cuz that's when God is doing a transformation in our lives. That's when he's making us more like Jesus, bringing glory to his name.
During our trials and tribulations it's easy to be quick to pray, “God remove this pain from me, now!”
But rather, we should pray, “God, go through this with me and help me conform more into the image of Jesus.”
Then we need to trust God to deliver us in his timing after accomplishing his purpose (1st Peter 5:8-10 Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings.  And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast).
