Job Chapter 25. The righteousness of Christ.
Now Bildad jumps in with words to Job. And here we go again because he confronts Job regarding the issue of being righteous and pure. He asks, how can a mortal person become righteous and pure? If the moon and stars are not pure in God's eyes, how can a mere human be pure and righteous who is but a maggot and worm?
I am reminded of Galatians 2:20 that says, “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
How is it possible for us to live a righteous and pure Life? By allowing Christ to live through us. He gives us a new life so that when God looks at us he doesn't see our sin but he sees the righteousness of Christ! That is great news!!!
Isaiah 61:10 says,”I delight greatly in the Lord; my soul rejoices in my God. For he has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of his righteousness….”
II Corinthians 5:21
“God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”
I Peter 2:24
“He himself bore our sins in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.”

Here are some more verses that I was reminded about today:
Isaiah 64:6
We have all become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous deeds are like a polluted garment. We all fade like a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind, take us away.
Titus 3:3-7
For we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, led astray, slaves to various passions and pleasures, passing our days in malice and envy, hated by others and hating one another. But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, He saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to His own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by His grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
