Nehemiah Chapter 11. We Need Each Other.
A team of people were established on who would stay in Jerusalem and who would stay in the surrounding cities. To run a city, you need a team of people. To run a business, you need a team of people. To run a ministry, you need a team of people. We were not designed to be “Lone Ranger's” or on our home, isolated from everyone. We need each other.
1st Corinthians 12:12-31 is a great passage that talks about being a team together as one. Please read it. I want to highlight some of the parts that caught my attention In this passage.
1. Our bodies are made up of many parts but the many parts make up one body.
2. Same with Christ. The body of Christ is not made up of one person but entails any believers in Christ.
3. We all make up the body of Christ therefore we all have a responsibility in the body of Christ.
4. No one can ever say, “We don't need you!” because we all need each other.
5. It is God who chooses where we are to be and what our responsibilities are to be.
6. The members of the team or body that seem less important are actually to be honored more so as to ensure that they feel they are important and not insignificant. For like I said, we need each other and woe to the person who feels some people are not that important or necessary.
7. We need to be equally concerned for each other.
8. If one suffers, we need to suffer with them.
9. If one person is honored, then we need to rejoice with them.
God, use us however you want to use us.

I would like to share today from Colossians 3:15-16.
“And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.”
