1st Kings chapter 4.
We get a great outline of Solomon and the kingdom that God has given to him. Solomon had great wisdom knowledge and understanding in running a kingdom. So many people had different responsibilities in order to help run a successful Nation.
I think about Edinboro Camp and my ongoing desire to see more people carrying out different responsibilities of the camp. I'm praying I can have a well-run camp with more volunteers to fill-in the many different responsibilities. It would take a great load off from me and my wife. I'm thankful for those who chip in throughout the year. It'd also be nice to be able to afford an administrator, even part-time. So I'm also praying for more monthly givers which would also help support our operating expenses plus afford the upkeep needed here at the camp.
Don't get me wrong, great things are being done for the kingdom. Lives are being impacted and changed. I see that!!! But from a business standpoint, I feel I could do a much better job than I am doing. So my prayer is for more volunteers and more monthly givers while being grateful and thankful for those who are helping out!!!

We see Judah and Israel experience a great time of peace and prosperity under King Solomon.
I would like to share a few verses today from Psalm 33.
Verse 12:
“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom He has chosen as His heritage!”
Verses 20-22:
“Our soul waits for the Lord; He is our help and our shield. For our heart is glad in Him, because we trust in His holy name. Let Your steadfast love, O Lord, be upon us, even as we hope in You.”
