Good morning you All! Thanks again for those who contacted me yesterday.  Sorry so late.  I was in Laurel Caverns with campers and couldn't get it posted.

Deuteronomy chapter 2.
In this chapter we continue to hear Moses reflect on their past adventures and travels with
the Lord. There are four themes thats stuck out to me.
1. God is our provider. As he always provided food for the Israelites to eat as they traveled
many places, God will provide our needs as well. Sometimes the needs are not met when
we want them to be met, but God's timing is better than ours so he can accomplish all he
wants to accomplish.
2. Respect and love your enemies. There were times that God told the Israelites not to go
into battle with certain Nations. They were to be respected. In general, I believe that as we
love our enemies and show them respect that we can break down the barriers of hate and
bring mutual respect for each other versus dissension.
3. Walking away from God, or being disobedient to God, always results in some kind of
consequences. That's natural. God lets us go through consequences. Think of a time you
were disobedient to God and the consequences that came as a result of that. The pain that
you and others experienced. Consequences are inevitable and are great reminders to stay
faithful to the Lord. Hopefully they will act as great reminders so that we can learn from our
mistakes and not repeat our disobedience.
4. Prayer should always be in the foremost part of our mind as we travel each day with the
Lord. As God made the king's heart stubborn so that God could be glorified, so God can
take what looks like very impossible situations and turn them around into our favor so that
his name can be lifted up and glorified. Trust God! Pray for his intervention! Then watch
what he does! Even the impossible!
